Athena Big Bore Cylinders from Bigborethumpers.com are an all new casting specifically for big bores. They are not simply bored out stock size blocks. Athena makes these blocks with larger water jackets and thicker cylinder walls to help with cooling. Athena kits come with new cylinder, piston, rings, pin gaskets. Lateral gasports, improving ring seal by forcing the ring against the cylinder wall. (Available on some models).
